Episode 4: Master Corporal Katherine Hanak

Master Corporal Katherine Hanak joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 2008. Originally joining the Navy Reserves, she then transferred to become a Combat Engineer. After an injury almost ended her career, she fought her way back to become Combat Diver, and then completed the gruelling selection process and course to become a Search and Rescue Technician. If you happen to be on a boat in the North Atlantic and run into trouble, it just might be Katherine who ends up saving you.
